Job description
Role overview
AMFRESH Group is seeking a Product Specialist focused on Top Fruit to help deliver products that are high in quality, fully compliant, and ready for customer use. The position works across the Top Fruit category to ensure standards are met from source to packing site through to customer-facing delivery.
Key duties
In this role, you will collaborate with Tesco, supply partners, Kent-based teams, Procurement, and Agronomy to protect product quality and category standards. You will be responsible for keeping product specifications, technical records, reporting, and compliance activity accurate and current.
You will also handle Tesco and source-side systems such as TQC, Inspectorio, Toolkit, and the AMT Portal. This includes maintaining product information, specification details, labels, packaging checks, and TPIS-related requirements.
Additional responsibilities include managing QSL data, preparing weekly KPI reports, compiling shelf-life reports, and sharing quality updates. You will support benchmarking exercises, sample reviews, taste panels, and customer site visits, while also contributing to issue resolution, refund investigations, root cause analysis, non-conformance follow-up, and broader technical compliance work.
Additional information
Travel to source locations and packing sites will be required whenever necessary.
The role is expected to contribute to continuous improvement across both source and packing operations.
