Job description
About Mastercard
Mastercard operates across more than 200 countries and territories, enabling secure, simple, and smart digital payments that help people, businesses, and governments reach their full potential. Through its technology, innovation, partnerships, and global network, the company supports a more sustainable economy where more people can thrive.
Role overview
This position sits at the center of a growing SME partner ecosystem. The focus is on turning complicated onboarding, risk, and operational requirements into smooth, predictable processes that help partners launch successfully and scale with confidence.
As a Product Specialist, you will play a key role in improving speed to market, strengthening portfolio health, and building partner trust. The role is highly visible and hands-on, with strong opportunities to develop expertise across products, partnerships, and risk.
What you will do
- Lead the full onboarding process for SME ecosystem partners, vendors, and service providers, from first intake through launch readiness.
- Manage risk and due diligence work by gathering documents, coordinating across teams, and preparing submissions.
- Serve as the central point of coordination for multiple partners, keeping track of milestones, risks, blockers, and timelines.
- Work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to keep projects moving and remove obstacles quickly.
- Create and maintain onboarding materials such as trackers, dashboards, and standardized documentation.
- Handle remediation and issue resolution by following up on actions, tracking evidence, and ensuring clear closure.
- Use standard onboarding methods while adjusting them to different SME models, partner profiles, and business use cases.
What is expected
The right candidate should be comfortable in fast-paced execution-led work, have strong cross-functional coordination skills, and bring a genuine interest in SMEs, fintech, platform products, and partnership-driven ecosystems.
Information security responsibility
Anyone working for or on behalf of Mastercard who accesses company assets, systems, or information must follow the organization’s security requirements at all times. This includes protecting confidentiality and integrity, reporting any suspected security incident or breach, complying with Mastercard’s security policies and practices, and completing all required periodic security training.
