Role Overview
BARMED is hiring a customer-oriented Product Specialist in Dubai to support and promote its range of radiology and specialist medical solutions. In this on-site role, you will work closely with healthcare professionals, hospitals, clinics, and diagnostic centers across the UAE to present products, support clinical use, and help customers find solutions that improve both patient care and operational performance.
This position suits a Biomedical Engineer or healthcare professional with a solid technical foundation and hands-on exposure to medical device sales. The ideal candidate will be confident discussing radiology and imaging technologies and motivated by solving practical clinical and business challenges for customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Present and demonstrate medical devices and radiology solutions to healthcare stakeholders.
- Lead product briefings, workshops, and training sessions for users and decision-makers.
- Build and sustain strong relationships with current and potential customers.
- Assess customer requirements and suggest suitable solutions with clear clinical and operational benefits.
- Handle the full sales process, including evaluations, tenders, and customer discussions.
- Offer technical and clinical input during demonstrations and equipment installations.
- Research the market and review competitors to spot business growth opportunities.
- Collect customer feedback and market intelligence to inform product enhancement efforts.
- Work with relevant internal and external stakeholders to support smooth project delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Represent the organization at conferences, exhibitions, and industry events when needed.
Required Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Medical Imaging, or another medical-related discipline.
- Prior experience selling medical devices or radiology equipment.
- Good working knowledge of radiology processes, imaging systems, and connected healthcare technologies.
- Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Sound analytical thinking and problem-solving ability.
- A customer-first mindset with the ability to identify issues and recommend practical, value-based solutions.
- Ability to work effectively both on your own and as part of a team in a fast-moving environment.
- A valid UAE driving license.
Preferred Experience
- 1 to 2 years of experience in the UAE or GCC healthcare market.
- Exposure to radiology, diagnostic imaging, or closely related medical technologies.
- A network of contacts within hospitals, clinics, and diagnostic centers in the UAE.
- Background in product launches, clinical applications, or technical support.
