About the Role and Candidate Profile
This opportunity is for an experienced Product Specialist with deep expertise in ServiceNow implementations within complex organizational environments. Candidates should hold a Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related discipline and possess a minimum of seven years of practical experience working on the ServiceNow platform.
Core Qualifications and Certifications
- Mandatory certifications include ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) and ITIL Foundation.
- Additional certifications such as CIS-ITSM, Discovery, Service Mapping, Cloud Practitioner, Agile, or Scrum are highly desirable.
Technical Expertise
- Solid grasp of ServiceNow platform architecture along with relevant applications and modules, including ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, and SPM.
- Demonstrated experience integrating ServiceNow with other tools and systems.
- Proficiency in leading technical teams and managing multiple concurrent projects.
- Product ownership capabilities encompassing road mapping, backlog prioritization, and release scheduling.
- Strong familiarity with ServiceNow AI and automation features.
- Ability to enforce platform standards and security controls, maintaining CMDB governance, data integrity, and operational excellence.
Soft Skills and Work Approach
- Excellent communication skills and adeptness at stakeholder engagement across all levels including vendors, with the ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Strong analytical and organizational abilities coupled with a proactive approach to problem-solving and prioritization.
- Flexibility to support activities outside normal office hours.
- Commitment to operational excellence and ongoing service improvement.
- Willingness to travel up to 5%-10% of the time.
