About the Role
Reporting to the Head of Product, the Product Specialist supports product-related decisions through data analysis, market insight, commercial evaluations, and managing key technology partnerships. This role collaborates with cross-functional teams to enhance the customer experience across web, mobile, and backend platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess new product opportunities, feature requests, and strategic projects by evaluating customer impact, commercial viability, operational requirements, and technical feasibility.
- Prepare business cases and cost-benefit analyses to aid prioritization and strategic decisions.
- Analyze product usage, customer behaviors, and performance data to detect trends and improvement areas.
- Create and maintain dashboards, metrics, and reports that enable data-driven product decisions.
- Conduct market and competitor research while tracking industry, regulatory, and technological trends to highlight risks and opportunities.
- Serve as the main liaison for strategic technology partners and suppliers, overseeing relationships, performance, roadmap discussions, and evaluations.
- Support Product Managers by collecting and analyzing customer feedback to identify pain points and feature improvements.
- Enhance data quality and reporting capabilities to improve insight availability for product decision-making.
- Utilize AI tools, workflow automation, and modern technologies to boost productivity and streamline product research and reporting.
- Use SQL and database querying to examine product data, validate assumptions, and support advanced analysis.
- Contribute to maintaining product processes in compliance with ISO 27001, ISO 9001, GDPR, and the company's Integrated Management System.
- Advocate for simplification, standardization, and continual improvement of product workflows and tools.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- At least 2 years experience in product management, business analysis, commercial analysis, or related fields.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to transform data into actionable strategies.
- Experienced in developing business cases and supporting strategic decision-making.
- Proficient at using analytics and business intelligence tools for product or business performance assessment.
- Basic knowledge of SQL and relational databases or eagerness to develop these skills.
- Experience collaborating with third-party suppliers, technology partners, and cross-functional teams.
- Proactive use of AI-powered and automation tools to enhance productivity and research capabilities.
- Excellent communication skills tailored to diverse technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong organizational abilities with keen attention to detail and multitasking skills.
- Familiarity with product management practices and regulatory governance such as ISO standards and GDPR compliance is advantageous.
Preferred Experience
- Background in SaaS, fintech, regtech, identity verification, compliance, or B2B software sectors.
- Experience assessing third-party technology products and service providers.
- Understanding of identity verification, fraud prevention, KYC, KYB, AML, or compliance technologies.
- Awareness of AI-driven fraud trends and evolving identity verification methods.

Compensation and Benefits
- Annual Salary: €40,000 to €45,000
- 28 days of annual leave, increasing to 30 with service tenure
