Job Summary
Johnson & Johnson International (Singapore) Pte Ltd is seeking a dynamic Product Specialist to join our MedTech Surgery team in Singapore. This role is pivotal in representing J&J MedTech's surgical innovations, aiming to enhance surgical care and improve patient outcomes. You will collaborate closely with surgeons and nurses to identify clinical needs and deliver value through our advanced product and service portfolio. Your efforts will directly support healthcare professionals and contribute to better patient recovery and quality of life.
Operating at the forefront of the operating theatre, this position demands success in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment. The role requires confidence, resilience, and a strong understanding of surgical procedures, customer needs, and medical device solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve and surpass assigned account sales targets, driving sustainable growth within key accounts.
- Identify and cultivate new business opportunities to boost revenue, profitability, and market share.
- Foster high levels of customer satisfaction through robust relationships, expert product knowledge, and exceptional service.
- Support enhanced patient care via appropriate in-service education and clinical product training.
- Collaborate effectively with sales, marketing, franchise, and cross-functional teams to align with account strategies and resolve business challenges.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date account records, reports, and customer information.
- Continuously enhance product knowledge and selling skills to differentiate Johnson & Johnson from competitors.
- Manage product samples and sales-related expenses within approved budgets and company policies.
- Contribute to product portfolio planning and execution based on customer insights and business priorities.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of products, procedures, competitors, and market trends.
- Expand business opportunities across existing and new customer segments.
- Cultivate strategic partnerships with key opinion leaders and stakeholders.
- Undertake additional responsibilities as needed to support business objectives.
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Science, Nursing, or Business is preferred.
- Exceptional teamwork, interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in sales mapping, pre-call planning, post-call reviews, and follow-ups.
- Proven ability to build trusted relationships and collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams.
- Capacity to manage multiple priorities in a demanding, fast-paced setting.
- Resilience and accountability to achieve results under pressure.
- Flexibility to work weekends and extended hours as required by business needs.
Preferred
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in the medical device industry is preferred.
- Prior sales experience is advantageous.
- Possession of a valid Class 3 driving license is preferred.
