Job description
Role Overview
As a Product Risk Manager at Aditya Birla Capital based in Maharashtra, you will be central to overseeing and mitigating portfolio risks, developing policies, and enhancing our risk management framework through data-driven insights and innovations.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct periodic risk reviews across credit default, operational, and concentration risk dimensions within the portfolio.
- Retrieve and analyze data from various systems and credit MIS to develop insightful risk dashboards utilizing Excel and Power BI.
- Compile comprehensive presentation decks for regional, Product Due Diligence (PDD), CRO, and CEO level reviews incorporating bounce analysis and feedback coordination with business and credit teams.
- Lead and support automation and digitization projects to improve risk monitoring and reporting processes.
- Design and implement improved early warning systems and risk scorecards for credit applications and ongoing monitoring.
- Drive the formulation and approval of policies, including evaluation of new products and benchmarking against peer practices, ensuring a thorough understanding of credit risk implications.
- Champion process improvements, automation initiatives, and system advancements to bolster risk management effectiveness.
Required Skills and Expertise
- Strong analytical capabilities to interpret complex data and derive actionable risk insights.
- Experience with data visualization tools, especially Excel and Power BI, for developing dashboards.
- Knowledge of credit risk assessment and portfolio risk management.
- Ability to lead policy development and product risk evaluation initiatives.
- Process improvement skills, including automation and digitization focus.
