Job description
About the company
Join a fast-growing SaaS business that is helping digitize one of Europe’s biggest and most tightly regulated sectors. The packaging market is worth several hundred billion euros and is facing major change because of new rules such as PPWR, EPR, and EUDR. The company has developed the first end-to-end platform for intelligent packaging management and is backed by strong funding and investor support.
What to expect
- Work directly with the leadership team and make a visible impact from the outset.
- Enjoy a high level of ownership, freedom, and responsibility within a motivated, diverse team.
- Be based in a Berlin-Prenzlauer Berg office with a hybrid working setup.
- Join a company with a clear vision, led by an experienced founding team and supported by leading investors.
- Benefit from fair pay and a transparent path for growth and development.
Your role
As Product Owner, you will be the operational anchor of the product function. In a scaling environment, you will help bring structure to fast-moving development work by setting clear priorities, keeping cycles organized, and making sure the team always understands what comes next and why.
- Partner closely with engineering teams to draft, prioritize, and maintain user stories and acceptance criteria in Linear.
- Plan engineering capacity and coordinate cycle planning so work is sequenced clearly.
- Support delivery by resolving open questions and making sure requirements are understandable and feasible from a technical perspective.
- Validate newly built features and ensure quality standards are met before release.
- Review usage data, error patterns, and KPIs to measure product performance and guide ongoing improvements.
- Streamline existing workflows and implement AI-enabled automations together with the team.
- Keep business stakeholders informed and aligned so ticket and feature timelines stay on track.
- Assist with go-to-market preparation and internal enablement for teams such as Sales, Support, and Training.
- Own the product experience and continuously improve SaaS best practices across the platform.
- Work with Product Leadership on product strategy and roadmap planning for packaging compliance, with a focus on PPWR and related regulations.
What you should bring
- Initial experience in product management or a similar role such as Product Owner, Business Analyst, or Scrum Master within a product team.
- A strong practical sense of what excellent product execution looks like, regardless of years of experience.
- Comfort with ambiguity and the ability to drive decisions through to completion.
- A strong focus on quality and a refusal to ship incomplete features.
- Ability to ramp up quickly on tools, products, and processes.
- Confidence working with engineers and providing clear requirements, fast decisions, and minimal disruption.
- Fluency in English is required; German is an advantage.
- Interest in sustainability, supply chain, or circular economy topics is a plus.
- Experience using AI tools for automation, analysis, or process improvement is a plus.
