About the Role

Join our growing management team at Plain Concepts as a Product Owner. In this role, you will design and implement custom solutions that delight our international clients. We seek a dedicated Product Owner with a strong technical background to lead innovative developments, train teams, and deploy cutting-edge projects. Work remotely or from our offices with a passionate, multidisciplinary team embracing Agile methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze and synthesize business needs into detailed, prioritized user stories.
Collaborate closely with technical teams to clarify user stories at functional and technical levels, ensuring feasibility.
Manage and prioritize the product backlog, aligning with product goals using Scrum practices.
Participate actively in Agile ceremonies such as refinements, planning sessions, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives, fostering team clarity and issue resolution.
Support the estimation process for user stories and tasks to enable effective sprint planning.
Act as liaison between stakeholders and development teams, gathering feedback and managing expectations.
Identify and prioritize features that deliver the highest business value.
Communicate end-user needs clearly, propose innovative solutions, and ensure the product delivers measurable value.

Requirements

Proven experience in a Product Owner role or equivalent within Agile teams.
Expertise in functional analysis and user story definition.
Solid technical understanding to interface effectively with development teams.
Familiarity with Agile frameworks including Scrum and Kanban.
Experience managing backlogs and prioritizing tasks in cross-functional settings.
Strong communication skills to engage with diverse stakeholders.
Ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency with project and backlog management tools such as JIRA and Azure DevOps.
Basic knowledge of UX/UI principles and user-centered design methodologies.
Understanding of DevOps concepts and continuous delivery techniques.
Fluency in English is mandatory.
