Product Manager - Software (m/f/d)

About the role

Bizerba is looking for a Product Manager for Software at its Balingen site to take ownership of digital offerings for the industrial environment. The role covers software and cloud-based solutions, with responsibility spanning the full product lifecycle and a strong focus on market-oriented innovation.

In this position, you will shape products from early concept development through launch, ongoing optimization, and eventual phase-out. Your work will help align Bizerba’s digital portfolio with customer needs, market opportunities, and business goals.

What you will do

• Lead product management for Bizerba’s digital solutions, including software and cloud services used in industrial contexts.
• Define and implement the product strategy to ensure strong positioning in the market.
• Own lifecycle management from idea generation and concept creation through launch, ongoing development, and outphasing.
• Monitor market trends, customer demands, and competitor activity to spot opportunities for new digital products and services.
• Translate insights into product requirements and prioritise them, while also building business cases and pricing approaches.
• Plan and track the product roadmap as well as the full lifecycle of each product.
• Prepare and execute product launches in a structured and professional way.
• Act as the product specialist and support international sales through trade fairs, customer meetings, webinars, and training sessions to drive product success.

Your profile

• You hold a degree in computer science, business informatics, or a related field.
• You bring experience working on projects.
• You have professional experience in product management, business development, or a similar position, ideally involving software in a B2B or industrial setting.
• You are willing to travel frequently for international customer visits and trade fairs, and you have strong analytical thinking with a solid understanding of market trends and customer needs.
• You have good written and spoken English skills.
