Job description
Role overview
This opportunity is posted for a partner organization that will handle applications and all subsequent steps. The hiring company is seeking a Product Manager for Player Onboarding & Activation in Germany.
In this role, you will take ownership of a major growth driver within a rapidly expanding iGaming environment: turning incoming visitors into engaged and active players. Your work will cover the complete early-stage user journey, from the first landing page interaction through registration, onboarding, first deposit, and first gameplay. You will collaborate across product, design, marketing, and compliance to shape user flows that are smooth, compliant, and built for conversion. The position is highly data-led and experimental, with a strong focus on spotting friction, running tests, and improving the activation funnel over time. Your decisions will have a direct effect on growth, retention, and revenue outcomes.
Core accountabilities
- Take end-to-end ownership of the player onboarding funnel and use user behavior insights to uncover drop-offs and lift the conversion rate from visitor to active player.
- Work in close partnership with acquisition and marketing teams to make sure traffic quality, campaign expectations, and onboarding outcomes are aligned.
- Shape and refine registration and onboarding journeys while ensuring they work smoothly with compliance and KYC obligations.
- Team up with design colleagues to create simple, engaging, and high-converting experiences that shorten the path to first value.
- Serve as the main product contact for onboarding and activation initiatives, keeping all relevant stakeholders aligned.
- Share product results, roadmap updates, and key insights with senior leaders and internal stakeholders.
- Carry out user acceptance testing and confirm that shipped features meet quality, usability, and regulatory expectations.
- Continue improving post-launch performance by monitoring user behavior, running experiments, and applying data-backed enhancements.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of product management experience in iGaming, with strong exposure to user journeys and conversion improvement.
- Solid knowledge of iGaming products, including online casinos, sports betting, or comparable platforms.
- Demonstrated ability to interpret user behavior, funnel metrics, and complex datasets to inform product decisions.
- Experience collaborating across marketing, design, compliance, and engineering functions.
- Strong planning and coordination skills, with the ability to manage several priorities in a fast-moving setting.
- Deep understanding of acquisition, onboarding, and activation metrics.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to influence senior decision-makers.
- Hands-on experience with A/B testing, experimentation methods, and data-driven optimization is highly desirable.
Benefits
- Work remotely with flexibility to be based anywhere in Europe.
- Receive a competitive compensation package based on experience.
- Take part in annual performance reviews with scope for salary progression and career growth.
- Enjoy additional paid leave that increases with tenure, up to 26 days in total.
- Get a paid birthday day off after completing one year with the company.
- Access health, wellness, and fitness reimbursements, including dedicated budgets after certain tenure milestones.
- Benefit from a self-development allowance for courses, training, and professional advancement.
- Have work equipment provided, including a laptop, headphones, and accessories.
- Join a transparent, experimental, and continuously improving culture in a fast-growing international setting.
