As the Product Manager for Plans Innovation, you will shape pricing tiers and develop new product features. The role calls for someone who can set direction, make trade-offs, and move work forward in a fast-moving environment while working closely with experts across multiple disciplines.

Location

This position is ideally based in Los Gatos, California, with a hybrid work setup. It may also be done remotely from the West Coast in the Pacific Time zone. If you work remotely, occasional travel to Los Gatos will be required.

What you will do

  • Create a forward-looking product roadmap and guide ideas from concept and validation through launch, measurement, and continued improvement.
  • Partner with design, engineering, consumer insights, and data science teams to deliver high-quality customer experiences.
  • Develop business cases and evaluate the business impact of product initiatives with data science support.
  • Write strategy documents and presentations and communicate your team’s work to senior leadership.
  • Develop a deep understanding of customer needs and share those insights with design and consumer research partners.
  • Lead the evolution of Netflix’s plans portfolio so it balances worldwide scale with local market needs.
  • Investigate, assess, build, launch, test, and refine new plan-tier features.
  • Work closely with the pricing team to ensure revenue goals are built into plan development.

What we are looking for

  • Strong interest in growth, product strategy, pricing, and/or behavioral economics.
  • At least 7 years of product management experience, with a track record of prioritizing and launching meaningful products or platforms.
  • Hands-on experience with growth, subscription plans, or monetization in a direct-to-consumer business, ideally at global scale and in a paid consumer service model.
  • Proven ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams and build trusted working relationships.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially for memos and product presentations.
  • Comfort using data to set priorities and judge the results of initiatives.
  • Strong judgment for creating an outstanding customer experience.
  • A mindset aligned with Netflix values, plus a fresh perspective that helps strengthen the culture.

Compensation and benefits

The compensation model is salary-based, with no bonus component. Employees can decide each year how much of their compensation is allocated to salary versus stock options. The market range for this role is $440,000 to $725,000 annually.

Netflix offers a broad benefits package that includes health plans, mental health support, a 401(k) retirement plan with employer match, a stock option program, disability coverage, health savings and flexible spending accounts, family-forming support, and life and serious injury benefits. Paid leave programs are also available.

Full-time hourly employees earn 35 days of paid time off each year, which can be used for vacation, holidays, and sick leave. Full-time salaried employees receive flexible time off immediately.
