About the Role and Company
This position is for a Product Manager specializing in Orders Management within Senior Care, offered as a 12-month contract with remote work based in the USA. Occasional travel to the Mississauga or Salt Lake City offices will be necessary for events such as onboarding and team meetings. PointClickCare is a leader in health technology, providing sophisticated healthcare platforms that serve over 30,000 providers and integrating AI to elevate healthcare delivery.

The product team is focused on revolutionizing order lifecycle management with a blend of clinical expertise and technology, directly improving safety, accuracy, and timeliness of orders. The environment values curiosity, teamwork, and the integration of AI for smarter workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute product strategy and roadmap for order-related products ensuring alignment with customer needs and business objectives.
- Oversee complete product lifecycle from discovery to continuous enhancement.
- Make data-driven product decisions that prioritize business and customer value over feature requests.
- Act as a subject matter expert on product functionality, customer workflows, and value delivery.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Design, Customer Success, Sales, Marketing, and other teams to translate needs into tangible product outcomes.
- Represent customer voice in agile teams and maintain prioritized backlogs.
- Evaluate product investments and requests with data-backed analysis providing recommendations to leadership.
- Modernize legacy products incorporating AI and automation to enhance value and efficiency.
- Navigate complex healthcare and regulatory environments translating those into actionable product strategies.
- Ensure product initiatives support organizational goals and long-term company growth.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare, Engineering, Business Administration or a closely related field.
- 3 or more years managing software products through all phases of development.
- Experience in healthcare IT domains such as clinical workflows, pharmacy or regulatory systems.
- Proven ability to align cross-functional teams including engineering and design without formal authority.
- Comfortable with technical topics including APIs, integrations, and platform-based development.
- Strong communicator able to present complex concepts to diverse audiences.
- Experience with AI/ML in product development or integration.
- Track record of successfully enhancing or modernizing legacy products.
Additional Information
