The company combines technology, innovation, partnerships, and network scale to deliver services and products that support customers, governments, and businesses in reaching their goals.
Role Overview
Within Foundry, the Product Innovation Manager will support the launch and execution of new-to-market products across core payments and services. The position covers the discovery, design, testing, and rollout of new solutions. It includes work on both short-term opportunities that can generate meaningful revenue in the current year and longer-term concepts that require scoping, validation, and market testing.
Key Responsibilities
- Take part in ideation sessions for new products and solutions, including running workshops and preparing supporting materials.
- Help shape product concepts and prototypes, while independently handling assigned deliverables.
- Work closely with Product, Engineering, and CX&D teams on concept validation and market testing, owning specific tasks end to end.
- Support or lead the preparation of business cases and planning documents for individual products.
- Create polished materials that support internal reviews and decision-making.
- Run cross-functional workshops and ensure action items are tracked through to completion.
- Collaborate with CXD, Product, and R&D teams by translating priorities into clear requirements.
- Operate effectively in a matrixed setup, influencing stakeholders and driving progress within tight timelines.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate has strong knowledge of the payments acceptance ecosystem and experience in acquirer payments or Stablecoin product propositions, gained through product development, product management, or consulting work. They should be comfortable with technical detail, analytical problem-solving, and close collaboration with R&D teams. Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential, along with the ability to connect ideas and people across a matrix organization. Experience in payments innovation and launching new value propositions is highly valued.
Mandatory Requirements
- Solid understanding of the payments acceptance ecosystem.
- Background in acquirer payments and/or Stablecoin product proposition development.
- Experience in product development, product management, or consulting.
- Strong analytical thinking and communication abilities.
- Proven exposure to rapid opportunity identification, concept creation, business model innovation, and market testing of global products.
- Previous involvement in payments innovation and delivery of new-to-market value propositions.
- Comfort working with technical details and R&D teams.
- Ability to influence in a matrixed environment and bring people and ideas together.
- Right to work in the UK without restriction.
Security Responsibilities
Anyone with access to Mastercard assets, data, or networks is expected to follow the company’s information security standards. This includes complying with security policies and practices, protecting the confidentiality and integrity of accessed information, reporting any suspected security incident or breach, and completing all required periodic security training.
