Role Overview
We seek a proactive Product Manager to spearhead the development of our digital insurance platform. This role involves simplifying insurance processes, automating complex workflows, and facilitating better coverage options for Canadians.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough product discovery by gathering user and business insights via interviews, data evaluation, and collaboration with internal stakeholders.
- Translate insights into prioritized product initiatives that enhance revenue, optimize user experience, and streamline operations.
- Define, track, and evaluate product performance metrics like quote completion, operational efficiency, and feature adoption to inform continuous improvement.
- Manage the success and refinement of AI-driven features, including large language model-based tools and predictive models, ensuring accuracy and impact.
- Contribute to strategic product roadmap development by identifying new opportunities and shaping platform evolution.
- Maintain a well-defined and prioritized backlog aligned with company goals for effective execution.
- Collaborate closely with engineering teams to guide features from concept to launch, acting as the focal point during development.
- Work alongside insurance experts to comprehend product logic and operations, converting these into clear development requirements.
- Validate automation through rigorous testing of broker workflows in legacy systems to confirm real-world process accuracy and manual task elimination.
- Coordinate with external designers ensuring user-centered solutions aligned with product objectives.
- Promote collaboration among multidisciplinary teams including product, engineering, design, and business units to uphold a cohesive product vision and execution excellence.

- Technical proficiency with the ability to understand complex operational systems and collaborate effectively with developers and designers.
- Detail-oriented and hands-on, comfortable validating workflows and automations against legacy processes.
- Excellent communication and ownership skills to align cross-functional teams and drive initiatives from idea to market release.
- Enthusiasm for AI and automation technologies, aiming to leverage these advancements to enhance products and customer experiences.
