Job description

Role overview

Airbnb began in 2007, when two hosts opened their home in San Francisco to three guests. Since then, the platform has expanded to millions of hosts and billions of guest arrivals across nearly every country, helping people experience travel and local communities in a more authentic way.

This position sits within the international Product Marketing function and is focused on the EMEA region. You will work closely with local and global teams to shape product direction, localize strategy, and help bring new ideas to market. The role is based in London, or within an easy commuting distance.

What you will do

You will help turn customer and market insights into product features, market strategies, and launch plans. The role spans the full product lifecycle, from idea development through release and communication, while acting as a key voice for the region.

  • Develop strong knowledge of the market by combining user research, marketplace data, and competitive analysis.
  • Turn inputs from multiple stakeholders into a clear product story and regional point of view.
  • Partner with local leaders to define the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for Airbnb products and new businesses.
  • Apply strong product development and product management practices in day-to-day execution.
  • Maintain and refine prioritization plans for features and roadmap items with local teams.
  • Champion new products and initiatives that create value for users and the business.
  • Communicate clearly and influence decisions across the company, including senior country and regional leaders.
  • Align product, design, engineering, and cross-functional partners such as business, supply, FP&A, marketing, global operations, customer support, and trust teams.
  • Set measurable goals and success metrics for your area using objectives and key results.
  • Build partnerships in your country or region that support growth in existing and new businesses.
  • Work through regulatory and government-related matters alongside policy, communications, and regional teams.
  • Create the product narrative and marketing approach for internal and external audiences in partnership with communications and other teams.
  • Prepare and present engaging product demonstrations for press and media stakeholders.

Experience and qualifications

The right candidate will bring 8 to 12 years of product management experience, strong product leadership, and the ability to operate both strategically and as an individual contributor. A background in scaling consumer products, working across international markets, and using data to guide decisions is important.

  • 8 to 12 years of product management experience.
  • Fluent English plus at least one additional European language, with strong preference for Spanish, French, or German.
  • Proven ability to lead products and influence outcomes.
  • Comfort working as an individual contributor when needed.
  • Experience building and scaling consumer products and ecosystems.
  • Track record of shaping product messaging and presenting to customers and media.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with experience taking ideas from concept to execution; startup experience is a plus.
  • Strong analytical ability and comfort using data and business analysis to guide product decisions.
  • Ability to drive execution across teams in a fast-moving environment.
  • Collaborative, results-focused approach.
  • Willingness to travel at least 25% of the time.

Inclusion and belonging

Airbnb encourages applications from all qualified people and is committed to widening access to talent. The company believes that diverse perspectives support innovation, strengthen engagement, and help build better products and services.

Compensation and benefits

The role may be eligible for bonus, equity, benefits, and Employee Travel Credits. The stated annual base pay range for the United Kingdom is £112,000 to £140,000. Actual pay may vary depending on training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, and market conditions. Job titles may span more than one career level, and the pay range may change over time.
