Job description

About the Role

Join a rapidly expanding, venture-backed medical device company located in Orange County, CA, focused on pioneering minimally invasive vascular procedure technologies. The company operates with a lean organizational structure emphasizing close collaborations among employees, physician partners, and leadership, encouraging rapid development cycles and true ownership across functions. This position offers a dynamic startup environment where you can influence both product innovation and internal processes beyond conventional marketing roles.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the entire product management lifecycle including strategy formulation, roadmap creation, and product lifecycle oversight.
  • Convert insights from physicians, market data, and customer feedback into clear product requirements and identify new pipeline opportunities.
  • Collaborate closely with Research & Development, Clinical, Regulatory, and Operations teams to drive product development and swift iterations.
  • Manage cross-functional coordination to ensure smooth design transitions, launch preparedness, and ongoing optimization efforts.
  • Create positioning, messaging, and commercial materials while assisting broader marketing activities such as content creation and collateral development.
  • Work directly with sales leadership and field teams to develop adoption strategies and collect real-time feedback from the market.
  • Support a variety of cross-functional priorities in this lean environment, taking on tasks beyond traditional product marketing boundaries.

Candidate Qualifications

  • Experience in product management, specialist roles, or related fields within the medical devices sector.
  • Demonstrated exposure to both strategic upstream and tactical downstream product activities with an interest in developing long-term ownership.
  • Excellent communication skills and proven ability to collaborate effectively across teams in a highly interactive setting.
  • Adaptability to a fast-moving startup atmosphere with shifting priorities and high organizational visibility.
  • Self-motivated, energetic, coachable, and willing to assume responsibilities beyond explicitly defined roles.
  • Bachelor’s degree mandatory; MBA or an advanced qualification preferred.
  • Ability and willingness to work onsite five days per week.
