Role overview
This position focuses on pricing support for new and existing investment-linked policy products and campaigns, helping shape product design through actuarial analysis and pricing model development. The role also includes regulatory filing preparation, internal reporting, and support for product rollout and implementation.
In addition to pricing work, the specialist will handle policy servicing matters by coordinating with stakeholders, getting to the root cause of policy issues, and providing timely, accurate resolutions.
Key responsibilities
- Develop pricing for new and current ILP products, and prepare reports and presentation materials for senior leaders.
- Review financial outcomes, assess important metrics, and recommend improvements that preserve market competitiveness.
- Work closely with internal teams on pricing decisions and implementation activities.
- Examine and validate product-related documentation.
- Support system development from a technical and implementation perspective, including UAT, Day 2 activities, and post-launch enhancements.
- Deliver reliable policy servicing support by ensuring customer and stakeholder queries are resolved accurately and without unnecessary delay.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science or another numerically focused discipline.
- Between 3 and 6 years of actuarial experience within life insurance.
- Evidence of steady progression through actuarial professional examinations.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Experience with Prophet or comparable actuarial software will be an added advantage.
