Role Overview

As a Footwear Product Designer at Pammys, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire design process of shoes—from initial concept sketches, through 3D modelling and prototyping, to final product realization. You will collaborate closely with teams across development, marketing, and production to ensure that products are aesthetically pleasing, functional, and user-centric.

Responsibilities

• Design innovative footwear, progressing from ideas to finished products.
• Co-create and help expand the company’s product range as part of the growth plan this year.
• Partner with development, marketing, and production to improve product quality and customer appeal.
• Conduct research on current design trends and market needs for continuous product enhancement.
• Generate technical drawings and deliver compelling presentations to internal teams.
• Provide input to optimize existing products focusing on design and user experience.
• Incorporate sustainable materials and fresh design concepts identified through trend and market analysis.
• Manage communication and coordination with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure product quality and feasibility.

Candidate Profile

• Proficient communication skills in both written and spoken German and English.
• Completed education in product design, industrial design, fashion design, or related fields.
• Strong creative talent with an affinity for design elements such as shapes, colors, and materials; prior footwear design experience is a plus.
• Ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with development, production, and marketing.
• Organized, self-motivated, and capable of managing tasks independently.
