About Mirage

Join our diverse team working on groundbreaking challenges in generative media. As an early team member, you'll address key unsolved issues in the industry and influence the evolution of creative media.

Responsibilities

  • Create user-friendly interfaces for web and mobile applications, encompassing user flows, wireframes, polished mockups, and interactive prototypes.
  • Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and Designers to establish product specifications and devise effective solutions that meet user and business objectives.
  • Lead design projects from initial idea through final delivery, weighing user requirements, technical limitations, and company goals.
  • Perform user research, usability tests, and competitive analyses to guide design choices and find areas for enhancement.
  • Convert insights from research, product needs, and data into well-defined design proposals.
  • Help maintain and improve the design system to ensure product consistency, scalability, and quality.
  • Communicate design ideas, reasoning, and compromises transparently to stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
  • Engage in design reviews and critiques, receiving and providing feedback to continually refine the user experience.
  • Serve as an advocate for users throughout the development cycle, promoting a user-centered mindset in decision-making.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends, advancing technologies, and best design practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Between 1 to 4 years of UX or product design experience, ideally in a dynamic environment.
  • A robust portfolio showcasing comprehensive design processes, including user research, interaction, visual design, and prototyping skills.
  • Proficiency with standard design and prototyping programs like Figma.
  • Strong understanding of user-centered design principles, usability standards, and common research methods.
  • Excellent communication prowess to clearly present design concepts and reasoning.
  • Capability to juggle multiple tasks and priorities with attention to detail.

Additional Information

All positions require presence at our New York City headquarters located in Union Square. Benefits are applicable to full-time employees only.
