Role Overview
This newly established role is critical as Stio's product range and sustainability efforts expand amid increasing regulatory requirements. The Product Compliance and Sustainability Analyst will manage data systems, regulatory adherence, and sustainability initiatives to ensure that product development processes remain transparent, compliant, and principled. This position reports directly to the Director of Supply Chain and collaborates closely with teams including Materials, PLM, Legal, Operations, and Brand.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary expert and administrator for Centric PLM and Pimberly PIM systems, including configuration, data governance, workflow optimization, and data exports.
- Set and enforce data entry standards within product teams and provide training on system protocols.
- Manage product compliance programs, covering care labeling, fiber content accuracy, country of origin, CPSIA documentation for youth products, and PFAS compliance including historical data and regulatory monitoring.
- Remain aware of and communicate updates on product safety and chemical regulations (at state, federal, and EU levels) and support wholesale customer compliance requirements.
- Lead and maintain Stio's EU Digital Product Passport program, managing labeling and ensuring consistency across international markets and regulations.
- Oversee sustainability-related certification audits (RDS, RWS, GRS, GOTS), certification tracking, transaction certificate collections, and carbon footprint data integration with partners.
- Coordinate sustainability surveys, committee activities, and cross-functional alignment on environmental goals, leveraging tools like HIGG, Worldly, BEE, and Change Climate platforms.
- Handle EPA PFAS regulatory reporting, documentation of production, disposal, and hazards, and maintain awareness of climate and corporate data accountability laws, partnering with Legal as needed.
- Serve as internal expert and liaison for environmental compliance and material chemistry inquiries.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain, environmental studies, sustainability, product operations, or related fields.
- Minimum of three years' relevant professional experience covering supply chain, product compliance, sustainability program management, or PLM system administration within apparel or consumer goods sectors.
- Proven skills in managing complex compliance programs, especially related to PFAS, labeling, fiber content, and certifications.
- Knowledge of sustainability certifications and transparency initiatives in supply chain management.
- Strong multi-project coordination and deadline management capability.
- Advanced PLM system usage or administrative experience preferred; familiarity with Centric PLM is a significant advantage.
- Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to develop processes and systems from the ground up.

Compensation Details
The total compensation package includes base salary, performance incentives, and benefits. Base pay for this role is estimated between $75,000 and $89,000 annually. The final offer will depend on experience, relevant skills, and qualifications.
