Role Overview

This newly established position at Stio® is designed to centralize and manage a growing scope of compliance and sustainability tasks tied to expanding product lines and regulatory demands. Reporting to the Director of Supply Chain, the Product Compliance and Sustainability Analyst will manage systems, data frameworks, and ensure adherence to regulatory and sustainability programs by collaborating closely with Materials, Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), Legal, Operations, and Brand teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the subject matter expert and administrator for Centric PLM, handling configurations, workflow optimizations, and data exports to support product teams.
• Oversee Pimberly Product Information Management (PIM) governance to guarantee material data accuracy and completeness.
• Design and maintain automated data exports to platforms such as NetSuite and wholesale and Direct-To-Consumer channels, ensuring accurate data mapping.
• Establish and enforce consistent data entry procedures and train team members on system protocols.
• Lead Centric custom fields development, sales channel logic, and seasonal updates in partnership with the PLM team.
• Coordinate Centric platform health checks with customer success teams and manage the platform's roadmap.
• Manage product compliance programs relating to care labeling, fiber content accuracy, country of origin, regulatory documentation for youth products, and PFAS compliance including historical records since 2011.
• Maintain knowledge and collaborate on compliance standards such as CAFTA, and monitor product safety and chemical regulations in California, the EU, and federally, briefing internal teams as necessary.
• Support wholesale customer compliance requests.
• Lead execution of Stio's EU Digital Product Passport (DPP) initiatives including data architecture, label requirements, and regulatory updates, working with Operations and Legal for reporting compliance.
• Oversee preferred material certification audits for standards like RDS, RWS, GRS, and GOTS, collaborating with suppliers and tracking certification status.
• Manage collection of RDS Transaction Certificates for down-filled products, maintain the mass balance sheet, and support Scope 3.1 carbon data collection in partnership with Climate Impact Partners.
• Coordinate sustainability data tools such as BEE and Change Climate platforms, lead annual sustainability surveys, and facilitate cross-functional committee alignment.
• Serve as the internal contact for EPA PFAS rules compliance, reporting production volumes, disposal, hazards, and monitoring legislative developments like California SB 253 and CSRD.

Required Skills and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Environmental Studies, Sustainability, Product Operations, or related fields.
• More than 3 years of relevant experience in supply chain, product compliance, sustainability operations, or PLM administration within apparel or consumer goods sectors.
• Proven ability to manage regulatory compliance programs including PFAS, labeling, fiber content, and certifications.
• Familiarity with sustainability certifications and efforts to promote supply chain transparency.
• Strong project management skills managing multiple concurrent priorities.
• Experience as an administrator or power user of PLM systems; knowledge of Centric PLM is advantageous.
• Highly detail-oriented with the ability to develop processes from inception.

Compensation & Equal Opportunity

Stio® offers a competitive salary package estimated between $75,000 and $89,000 annually, with exact pay determined by experience and qualifications.
