About the Role
The Industrial Machinery Product Analyst is responsible for managing a specific portfolio of industrial machinery brands within the Group. This includes handling daily interactions with principals, overseeing product positioning and lifecycle activities, and assisting the Senior Manager with broader portfolio research, brand introduction, and strategic planning.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and manage day-to-day relationships and product lifecycle actions for assigned industrial machinery brands.
- Serve as the primary contact for assigned principals/OEMs concerning specifications, allocations, pricing, and launch preparations.
- Collaborate closely with sales, distribution, and aftersales teams in emerging markets to coordinate product activities with local execution and value-added services.
- Conduct comprehensive market and competitive analysis to aid brand and portfolio decisions made by senior leadership.
- Support brand and OEM onboarding processes and assist with expansion efforts, particularly in African markets, under Senior Manager supervision.
- Gather feedback from dealers, contractors, and end customers to guide roadmap and portfolio recommendations.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, or a related discipline.
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in product or brand management, distribution, or commercial roles within the industrial machinery or heavy equipment sectors.
- Demonstrated experience managing or coordinating directly with OEMs or principal contacts.
- Strong analytical capabilities, comfortable handling sales, pricing, and performance data.
- Experience collaborating with distribution and aftersales operations, preferably in Syria or similar markets.
- Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Arabic is advantageous.
- Preferred candidates will have experience with brands such as JCB, Hangcha, NH, Astra, Iveco, or equivalent industrial machinery/OEMs.
- Exposure to emerging or frontier markets, notably Africa, is a plus.
- Experience ensuring alignment between aftersales/value-added services and product decisions is desirable.
