Role Overview
We seek a Product Analyst to join the High Security unit, responsible for transforming product, pricing, and performance data into actionable, clear recommendations. Collaborating with product management, engineering, operations, marketing, and sales teams, you will influence decisions to optimize product portfolio performance and customer value.
Key Responsibilities
- Interpret product trends, performance, and opportunities within the High Security portfolio, delivering insightful and practical guidance.
- Contribute to pricing strategy including analyses, initial price setting, and routine reviews.
- Maintain and refine performance metrics, reports, and business case archives related to High Security products.
- Coordinate lifecycle tasks such as part creation, updates, product categorization, and supporting third-party product offerings.
- Manage product documentation, web content, and catalog reviews, collaborating with technical and marketing teams to suggest enhancements.
- Support compliance activities related to RDTI, including accurate reporting, conducting audits, and timesheet management.
Candidate Profile
You are an analytical thinker with a passion for extracting insights from data and converting complex information into straightforward recommendations. You are keen to understand product technologies and flexible in performing diverse tasks to meet team goals. Your curiosity, organizational skills, and confidence in cross-team collaboration are strengths.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- A university degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related discipline.
- Between 2 and 5 years’ experience in product, business, or market analysis roles, preferably in technology, security, or manufacturing sectors.
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving abilities demonstrated by leveraging quantitative and qualitative research to back business decisions.
- Proficiency with analytical and operational platforms like Excel, Power BI, and SAP; eagerness to integrate AI tools for enhanced individual and team productivity.
- Strong communication and documentation expertise, including effectively delivering insights to stakeholders.
- Capability to forge solid working partnerships across multifunctional teams including product, engineering, operations, marketing, and commercial areas.
Additional Requirements
Candidates must be capable of obtaining and maintaining a security clearance at the Confidential level. Eligibility requires NZ permanent residency and continuous residency in NZ or a 'Five Eyes' country (NZ, USA, UK, Canada, Australia) for the past five years.
