About the role

This position sits within YouTube’s Business Central Strategy and Operations function, supporting global initiatives that strengthen growth and overall health across the creator and partner ecosystem. The work spans strategic planning, business operations, incentives design and operations, and regional strategy execution across the Americas, EMEA, and APAC.

As a product and business strategy leader, you will help teams across Google execute effectively by combining strategic thinking, operational rigor, and strong cross-functional collaboration. The role blends market analysis, business planning, operational cadence, and executive communication to drive high-impact outcomes.

In this APAC-focused role, you will partner closely with YouTube APAC Partnerships leadership to help launch and scale Creator, Emerging Experiences and Community (EMCO), and shopping products. You will also represent the needs of creators, third-party creator providers, and merchants by bringing their feedback back into product discussions.

Key responsibilities

  • Shape and run the go-to-market approach for selected APAC product areas, including communication materials, trusted tester or experiment programs, and quarterly forecasting.
  • Partner with the global product activation organization and the APAC YouTube Partnerships team to improve business results and product adoption, while also coordinating cross-functional initiatives with a wide stakeholder network.
  • Support and lead launches for creator, EMCO, and shopping offerings across APAC markets, while maintaining strong operational discipline through OKR tracking and annual business planning.
  • Collect market intelligence and translate it into clear, data-backed recommendations that inform product and business direction and strengthen regional advocacy.
  • Work with global, regional, and country stakeholders on pilots, program reviews, and cross-functional efforts that support market expansion and business plans.

Minimum qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent hands-on experience.
  • At least 4 years of experience in management consulting, sales operations, business strategy, or corporate advisory work.
  • Proven experience collaborating with senior executives and coordinating across multiple functions and stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications

  • Ability to use SQL or analytics tools to generate insights and recommendations.
  • Background in product management or in shaping product strategy.
  • Understanding of the creator ecosystem or e-commerce operations, including the customer and engagement contexts around them.
  • Comfort working in a fast-moving, evolving environment with flexibility and self-direction.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to build a persuasive narrative and create presentation decks or documents for executive audiences.
  • Strong commercial judgment, problem-solving ability, and data analysis skills.
