Key Responsibilities

• Ensure pricing accuracy by correctly pricing and signing products, handling ordering, clearances, markups, markdowns, labels, and signage per store procedures.
• Adhere strictly to food safety and cold chain protocols, including performing temperature checks, using thermometers properly, handling food safely, and monitoring sell-by and expiration dates.
• Manage merchandise stocking and downstocking as needed, apply product protection, and set up displays like modulars and shelf caps to keep the department fully supplied.
• Follow all health and safety guidelines to maintain a secure and sanitary workplace.
• Be flexible with work schedules, including availability for evening, weekend, and holiday shifts, to meet business demands and ensure consistent service.

Challenges of the Role

• Effectively managing a high volume of tasks in a fast-paced environment, including overnight shifts, while maintaining energy and focus.
• Handling substantial restocking and recovery workloads accurately and efficiently within required timeframes.
• Meeting physical demands such as prolonged standing, bending, and lifting inventory or equipment weighing up to 20 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally.
• Performing repetitive stocking, zoning, and organizing duties with consistent attention to detail to maintain store standards.

Compensation

The starting hourly wage for this position is $18.70.
