Core responsibilities
- Identify, source, and purchase electrical, mechanical, ICT, security, and power infrastructure items.
- Request quotations, compare supplier offers, and negotiate on price as well as delivery timelines.
- Prepare purchase orders and keep the procurement timeline up to date.
- Develop strong supplier partnerships and review supplier delivery and service performance.
- Liaise closely with project, engineering, site, and logistics teams to keep buying activities aligned.
- Monitor material deliveries to site and respond quickly to urgent sourcing needs.
- Track spending against budgets and look for ways to reduce cost.
- Follow procurement procedures and remain compliant with health and safety and ISO requirements.
