Responsibilities and Role Requirements

• Manage procurement activities focused on specialty food ingredients such as nutraceuticals, proteins, cocoa, and alternative sweeteners.
• Oversee import operations related to food ingredients, enhancing supply chain efficiency.
• Engage in skillful negotiation and implement operational practices that maximize efficiency.
• Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, demonstrating a proactive approach to problem-solving and action-taking.
• Collaborate with founders and a high-caliber team within a fast-growing startup environment.
• Undertake frequent travel as necessary, operating independently without constant supervision.

Qualifications and Experience

• Possess a bachelor's degree; degrees in Supply Chain or Food Technology are preferred.
• Have at least three years of procurement experience in specialty food ingredients such as nutraceuticals and related areas.
• Demonstrated experience with import operations linked to food ingredients is advantageous.
• Prior procurement experience within FMCG, nutraceutical brands, or distributors of food chemicals and specialty ingredients is highly valued.
• Strong technical capabilities related to procurement processes and supply chain management.
