Position Overview

The Procurement Analyst will oversee and audit purchasing processes related to indirect materials and services, supporting plant operations. This role emphasizes supplier management, cost-saving initiatives, compliance adherence, and process enhancements utilizing systems such as SAP and analytical reporting tools.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Assess and handle purchase requisitions for the plant and purchasing team.
• Solicit and analyze supplier quotes focusing on optimal pricing, delivery, and payment terms to maximize organizational value.
• Generate and administer purchase orders compliant with internal purchasing guidelines.
• Document and track monthly savings and cost reduction efforts linked to procurement activities.
• Support management of supplier contracts ensuring alignment with company standards to reduce risk.
• Act as liaison between suppliers and internal teams to address commercial, payment, and delivery issues.
• Manage supplier registrations, updates, and master data maintenance.
• Collaborate with Accounts Payable, Warehouse, Foreign Trade, and other departments to streamline procurement operations.
• Ensure adherence to legal, environmental, quality, and purchasing requirements in supplier transactions.
• Participate in internal and external audits concerning purchasing, quality, environmental, and compliance.
• Provide training to staff on purchasing procedures, requisition handling, and procurement policies.
• Identify and implement opportunities for procurement process improvements and continuous enhancement initiatives.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related discipline.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain roles.
• Proficiency with SAP and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal capabilities to work cross-functionally and with suppliers.
• Capacity to manage concurrent priorities in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with Power BI and data analysis tools.
• Intermediate proficiency in English.
• Background in automotive, manufacturing, or industrial sectors.
• Understanding of supplier relationship management, contract handling, and procurement best practices.
• Experience supporting audits related to ISO standards, quality, environment, or compliance.

• Use of computers and standard office equipment for prolonged durations.
• Occasional lifting of materials and movement across production areas as required.
