Job description
Role overview
We are seeking an experienced procurement professional to provide advisory support on sourcing, contracting, and procurement governance. This position focuses on guiding procurement decisions, ensuring policy compliance, and helping internal teams manage commercial and contractual risk.
Key responsibilities
- Offer expert guidance on procurement strategy, sourcing methods, and contract structures.
- Make sure procurement work follows the approved policies, procedures, and delegated approval limits.
- Examine requisitions, tender packs, commercial assessments, and award proposals before they are approved.
- Help resolve internal and external audit findings connected to procurement and contracting.
- Support teams with procurement best practices, compliance expectations, and risk reduction measures.
- Work closely with Legal, Finance, and other functions to keep contractual and commercial terms aligned.
- Contribute to ongoing improvements in procurement governance, controls, and operating processes.
Qualifications
A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Law, or a similar discipline is required. The role calls for 7 to 10 years of relevant experience in procurement, contracts, or commercial functions.
