Job description
About the Company
Madan+ (M+) provides high-end financial services, including wealth management, investment solutions, and advisory support for individuals, families, businesses, and institutions. Its Private Wealth group combines disciplined investing with highly personalized service to help clients work toward the future they want. The team values excellence, integrity, and long-term client relationships.
About the Role
The Private Wealth Investment Analyst plays a central role within the Private Wealth function, acting as a primary daily contact for clients while also supporting the Private Wealth Director on the operational side. The position brings together investment operations, client service, compliance awareness, and coordination across teams. It is suited to someone who is detail-oriented, client-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-moving environment with complex accounts and regulatory requirements. This is a visible role with room for growth toward a senior wealth advisory career, and the successful hire will receive guidance and mentorship from the Director of Wealth Management.
Client Service & Relationship Management
- Act as the main everyday contact for Private Wealth clients, responding to questions, requests, and issues quickly and accurately with a service-first approach.
- Develop trusted relationships with clients and their wider support network, including accountants, attorneys, and family members, while reinforcing the value proposition of Mass Mutual and M+ at each interaction.
- Take a proactive approach to client needs by sending tailored updates such as market commentary, portfolio recaps, and follow-up messages after events.
- Prepare meeting support materials for client reviews, including investment recommendations, performance summaries, and financial planning overviews.
- Record all client conversations, tasks, and follow-ups in Salesforce CRM so that nothing is missed.
Investment Operations & Account Administration
- Manage the full account-opening workflow, from gathering documents and signatures to setting up profiles in the platform and checking for accuracy before submission.
- Assist with model-based trading activities such as rebalancing, distributions, contributions, tax-loss harvesting coordination, and directed trades under the Private Wealth Director’s direction.
- Track account activity for exceptions, absent documents, or compliance issues, and address or escalate them promptly.
- Create investment proposals using approved models, while taking risk factors and client-specific limitations into account.
- Keep records current across custodial systems, internal reporting tools, and Salesforce to maintain clean data and audit readiness.
Compliance, Risk & Regulatory Adherence
- Ensure every new and existing account meets AML and KYC standards.
- Work in line with Mass Mutual and M+ policies, procedures, and supervisory controls to safeguard clients, the firm, and its regulatory position.
- Stay informed about regulatory updates affecting private wealth and securities operations, and flag relevant impacts to the Private Wealth Director.
- Assist with audits and compliance reviews by maintaining complete, organized, and review-ready records.
Business Development Support
- Work with the Private Wealth Director on new client growth efforts, including referrals, prospect follow-up, and pipeline tracking.
- Help drive quarterly and annual sales targets through lead management, proposal preparation, and marketing support.
- Contribute to client appreciation events, seminars, and targeted outreach efforts alongside marketing.
- Support creation of thought leadership content, client newsletters, and investment commentary when needed.
Team Collaboration & Operational Excellence
- Provide broad operational support for daily Private Wealth team needs, including scheduling, meeting setup, client paperwork, and internal reporting.
- Take part in team check-ins, strategy meetings, and company training programs.
- Suggest process improvements that strengthen efficiency, client experience, or compliance.
- Work with internal partners across operations, compliance, technology, and marketing to solve client issues and move team goals forward.
- Step in to help teammates and cross-functional colleagues during busy periods or special initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a similar field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Proven ability to balance several priorities in a deadline-focused setting while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.
- Strong command of Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills, with the ability to explain complex financial ideas in clear client-friendly language.
- Strong ethical judgment and the ability to manage confidential client information with complete discretion.
Benefits
- Competitive base pay with the opportunity for a discretionary bonus.
- Full medical, dental, and vision coverage.
- Paid time off and paid holidays.
- Sponsorship and study support for licensing exams, including SIE, Series 7, and Series 63/65 or 66, to be completed within 180 days.
- Access to proprietary investment research, tools, and platforms.
- A collaborative, high-performing environment that recognizes client success and personal development.
