Private Markets Fund Investments Intern (Fall 2026)

Role overview

Sun Venture is looking for an intern to support its global private markets funds investment programme, with a focus on private equity and private credit. The role is based in Singapore and involves research, analysis, investment support, and internal coordination.

What you will work on

• Help evaluate primary and secondary fund opportunities by researching managers and strategies, comparing against benchmarks, and reviewing historical performance.
• Support the review of co-investment ideas through company and sector research, financial analysis, and the drafting of investment memos.
• Take part in internal conversations that help rank and prioritise potential investments.
• Contribute to materials prepared for investment committee discussions.
• Perform market mapping and thematic analysis across private equity and private credit managers, strategies, and sectors.
• Assist with portfolio monitoring by examining quarterly GP reporting.
• Support wider team tasks such as stakeholder presentations, data and content management, and process improvement projects.

Requirements

• Applicants should be studying for a degree in Business, Finance, Accountancy, or Economics, and must have finished at least two years of undergraduate study.
• Availability for a full-time internship from August to December 2026 is required.
• Previous internship exposure in a relevant area will be considered an advantage.
