Role Overview
This subcontracted on-site Private Investigator position is located in Naples, Florida. The incumbent will perform insurance fraud surveillance, conduct background checks, and execute various field investigations, ensuring accurate and comprehensive note-taking. The role requires frequent travel within the designated region and strict compliance with legal and ethical standards. The investigator must coordinate with supervisors and clients to deliver timely case completions, juggle multiple assignments, meet deadlines, and uphold confidentiality at all times.
Key Responsibilities and Expectations
- Perform insurance fraud surveillance operations with discretion and accuracy.
- Conduct background verifications and field investigations in diverse settings.
- Document investigations thoroughly with clear and organized reports.
- Travel frequently within the assigned geographical area to complete assignments.
- Maintain adherence to legal, ethical, and confidentiality standards throughout all investigations.
- Manage several concurrent cases effectively while meeting set deadlines.
Required Qualifications
- Possession of a valid Class "C" Private Investigator license with a minimum of two years of investigative experience.
- Advanced skills in investigation and claim examination, including information gathering, verification, and analysis.
- Experience in surveillance and fraud investigation, with capabilities in discreet fieldwork and obtaining recorded statements.
- Strong proficiency in investigative report writing, ensuring clear communication and detailed documentation.
- Authorized driver’s license holders with dependable transportation and willingness for local travel to on-site locations.
- Comprehensive knowledge of laws, regulations, and ethical guidelines applicable to private investigation.
- Ability to operate independently, exercise sound judgment, and maintain strict confidentiality.
- Prior experience in insurance investigations, law enforcement, or related sectors is advantageous.
