Job description
Role Overview
This position supports Relationship Managers in a private banking environment by taking care of document handling, administrative coordination, and day-to-day operational support. The role is based in Singapore and focuses on keeping banking paperwork, meeting logistics, and team administration running smoothly.
Document and Form Processing
- Help prepare, print, and arrange standard forms used for account opening, account servicing, and other banking-related transactions.
- Take charge of dispatching internal approval documents, entering data, scanning records, filing paperwork, and following up on document progress.
- Perform basic system entry and preliminary formatting for KYC and AML profiles, without carrying out formal compliance checks or direct client verification.
- Support clients with online banking activation and usage, monitor signature collection on client forms, and assist with comparing names against AML lists.
Clerical and Administrative Support
- Manage routine administrative tasks for the RM team, including office supply ordering, business card printing, reimbursement processing for items such as taxi and entertainment expenses, and business travel arrangements.
- Coordinate both internal and external meetings by booking meeting rooms, preparing printed materials, and producing presentation copies.
- Oversee the department's incoming and outgoing mail and work with courier vendors as needed.
Requirements
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with the ability to format documents quickly and keep data organized.
- Careful, detail-focused approach with the ability to avoid mistakes when handling banking forms and numerical information.
- Good communication and coordination abilities, along with a service-minded attitude when working with colleagues and other teams such as Operations and Compliance.
- Self-driven and accountable, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively and keep administrative work on track.
