Role overview
His Majesty’s Prison and Probation Service is recruiting prison officers for HMP Highpoint in Exning, England. This is a demanding, varied role focused on protecting the public while supporting people in custody to make constructive changes in their lives.
The position offers a salary range of £35,746 to £40,003 and is suited to people who bring integrity, resilience, sound judgement and strong interpersonal skills.
What the role involves
Each day can look different. You may move between maintaining order, supporting and guiding prisoners, and helping create a safe environment for everyone in the prison. The job requires close contact with offenders and a professional, respectful approach at all times.
You will be expected to work as part of a tight-knit team and contribute to the safety of colleagues, prisoners and the wider prison environment.

Working pattern
This role requires shift-based work, including weekends.
