This senior position in our national Water and Wastewater Treatment team offers the chance to engage in impactful projects utilizing your technical expertise and leadership capabilities.

Role Summary

As a Principal Engineer specializing in water and wastewater treatment, you will take ownership of complex investigations and designs from initial concept through construction phases. Your role involves collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and maintaining excellent client relationships, ensuring technically sound and high-quality deliverables. Additionally, you will mentor junior engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence throughout the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert technical leadership on water and wastewater treatment projects.
  • Lead and critically evaluate investigations, feasibility analyses, designs, and technical documentation.
  • Employ sound engineering judgement for design, verification, and peer reviews.
  • Collaborate effectively within diverse project teams.
  • Develop and sustain strong client partnerships, articulating technical solutions clearly.
  • Contribute to proposal development including technical input and risk assessment.
  • Support and guide engineers and graduates to promote a culture of excellence.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering with specialization in Chemical/Process, Civil, or Mechanical engineering.
  • Preferably between 10 to 15 years of professional engineering experience in related disciplines.
  • Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) status or working towards obtaining it.
  • Substantial hands-on experience in water and/or wastewater treatment engineering.
  • Demonstrated capability in technical leadership and rigorous review.
  • Excellent communication skills paired with a client-centered approach.
  • A collaborative work style committed to high professional standards.
