Responsibilities
- Manage the complete investment lifecycle, encompassing sourcing, assessment, due diligence, deal negotiation, and closure.
- Champion investment opportunities before the investment committee, building strong conviction cases.
- Serve as a board observer or hold board seats, acting as the key partner to portfolio companies.
- Formulate and rigorously evaluate investment theses focused on HealthTech, turning sector research into executable deal pipelines.
- Enhance YZR's operational capabilities through research, development of tools, and internal projects, while expanding networks with founders and co-investors.
- Assist general partners by engaging in internal strategic initiatives.
Requirements
- Possess an entrepreneurial spirit combined with strong analytical abilities and intellectual curiosity.
- Have at least five years of relevant professional experience in venture capital, private equity, strategic consulting, or investment banking.
- Demonstrate hands-on experience with deal sourcing, due diligence, deal structuring, negotiation, and successful deal closure.
- Show a keen interest in innovative business models within the HealthTech sector.
- Exhibit high levels of motivation, proactivity, teamwork, and effective communication skills.
- Fluency in English and a working proficiency in German at the B2 level or higher.
