As the Principal Compensation and Benefits Analyst for the APAC region, focused on Singapore, China, and Korea, you will support regional total rewards programs under the APAC Total Rewards Director. Your role includes enhancing global rewards initiatives, assessing program effectiveness, and aligning compensation strategies with Micron's business goals and culture while collaborating with internal and global stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage regional/local compensation and benefit programs.
- Conduct regular benchmarking and evaluations to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Partner with stakeholders to implement necessary program modifications and communicate changes to relevant teams including vendors and management.
- Compile and address employee and management feedback, monitor industry trends, and maintain compliance.
- Support onboarding and offboarding procedures related to rewards programs.
- Co-lead the global pay equity program including defining strategy, governance, analytics, and data integrity alongside HRIS/People Analytics teams.
- Develop remediation frameworks and manage pay equity tools.
- Consult with internal stakeholders and educate managers and team members on total rewards.
- Analyze job roles through leader interviews, maintain job inventories, and recommend job classifications based on comprehensive benchmarking.
- Ensure adherence to legal and regulatory requirements in compensation processes.
- Establish, validate, and maintain pay ranges, leveraging third-party market survey data.
- Prepare and analyze compensation and benefits reports, communicate results effectively to partners, and recommend strategies based on data insights.
- Maintain and audit compensation systems and data integrity; conduct system testing and resolve issues promptly.
- Participate in cross-functional projects representing the Total Rewards team.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in compensation and benefits within reputable technology companies.
- Proficiency with advanced Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Strong abilities in data analysis, statistical methods, and problem-solving for data quality issues.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Chinese.
- Exceptional interpersonal and time management capabilities.
- Experience leveraging artificial intelligence tools in daily work tasks.
- Preferred certifications: CCP or GRP.
