Role overview

The Principal Sales Analyst will act as a close strategic partner to the Head of Sales for the EMEA Agile Sales Team. In this senior individual contributor position, you will help turn sales priorities into concrete plans, keep initiatives on track, and support the organization in reaching its performance targets.

You will work alongside sales leaders and cross-functional stakeholders to convert strategy into execution, maintain alignment across teams, and ensure timely communication on progress and priorities. The position functions as an extension of the Head of Sales and plays an important role in driving operational discipline and strategic follow-through.

What you will do

  • Work with the Head of Sales to shape and implement sales strategy and broader business priorities.
  • Convert leadership goals into practical initiatives with timelines and measurable outcomes.
  • Monitor progress on major sales programs and keep different teams aligned.
  • Support business tracking by reviewing pipeline quality, forecasting patterns, and core sales metrics.
  • Spot ways to improve sales productivity and overall operational effectiveness.
  • Assist with planning activities such as quarterly business reviews, annual planning, and sales performance reviews.
  • Collaborate with Finance, HR, Sales Operations, Marketing, and other teams on organizational and operational matters.
  • Help drive work related to territory planning, org design, and sales process improvements.
  • Build presentations, analyses, and briefing materials for leadership meetings, executive reviews, and business updates.
  • Follow up on action items and maintain accountability for strategic initiatives.
  • Keep sales leadership informed with clear, consistent updates on priorities and progress.
  • Lead or support high-priority projects on behalf of the Head of Sales.
  • Manage project plans, schedules, and stakeholder coordination to ensure successful delivery.
  • Share regular status updates on results, risks, and next steps.

What we are looking for

  • At least 5 years of experience in sales strategy, sales management, business operations, or a similar role in a technology or software company.
  • Background in supporting senior sales leaders within fast-moving, matrixed organizations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving ability, with the skill to turn data into practical recommendations.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills for engaging senior stakeholders and cross-functional partners.
  • Ability to juggle several priorities and initiatives at the same time.
