Role Overview
The Principal Officer for Business Integrity and Compliance is tasked with the proactive execution and oversight of Safaricom's Compliance Programmes. Reporting directly to the Senior Manager of Business Integrity and Compliance, this role is pivotal in ensuring that the organization adheres strictly to applicable laws, regulations, and internal standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and manage Safaricom's Compliance Programmes across all business units.
- Coordinate comprehensive execution of the Compliance framework with various business functions.
- Conduct assurance activities that monitor and verify adherence to company rules, including the Business Code of Conduct and organizational policies.
- Utilize a risk-based approach to evaluate compliance and identify potential vulnerabilities.
