Core Responsibilities

The principal will guide academics, lead teams, support students, engage with parents, and ensure smooth compliance and administration across the I-CBSE section.

• Direct curriculum planning and classroom implementation for the I-CBSE programme.
• Bring CBSE delivery in line with inquiry-based and student-centered learning methods.
• Strengthen preparation for board examinations in Grades 10 and 12.
• Apply NEP 2020 principles and competency-based teaching practices.
• Hire, coach, and develop teaching staff.

• Evaluate staff performance and encourage ongoing professional development.
• Coordinate with IB leadership to support integration across dual curricula.

Qualifications and Experience

• An M.Ed. or a related master’s degree, along with B.Ed., is required.
• Candidates should have 10 to 12 years of experience in CBSE schools.
• At least 3 to 5 years of leadership experience as a Principal, Headmaster, Vice Principal, or Academic Head is expected.
• Strong understanding of CBSE and NEP 2020 is essential.
• Experience with IB, Cambridge, or IGCSE systems will be an added advantage.
• Work experience in dual-curriculum schools is preferred.
• Comfort with educational technology platforms is desirable.
