Overview
Muscat Engineering Consultancy LLC is looking for an experienced Principal Civil Designer to lead design initiatives for major Oil & Gas projects in Saudi Arabia. This role demands extensive technical expertise alongside exceptional leadership to drive project success within a dynamic sector.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead and manage senior design personnel including Senior Designers and Draftsmen across various disciplines.
- Coordinate and assign daily design activities to ensure on-time project completion.
- Review engineering drawings thoroughly to confirm precision and consistency across all disciplines.
- Maintain cost efficiency in the preparation and revision of engineering documentation.
- Deliver superior quality drawings adhering to client and project standards.
- Manage and resolve interface issues between different disciplines during the design phase.
Candidate Qualifications
- Possess a Diploma or equivalent technical engineering/design certification.
- Have at least 15 years of relevant design engineering experience in the Oil & Gas industry, including a minimum of 3 years in Saudi Arabia.
- Skilled in multiple design software including MicroStation, AutoCAD, SP3D, PDMS, PDS, and E3D.
- Strong understanding of discipline-specific layout requirements and deliverables.
- Knowledgeable of Saudi Aramco standards, international engineering codes, and best industry practices.
- Fluent in English, both spoken and written; Arabic language skills are advantageous.
