Role Summary and Responsibilities
- Brand Strategy & Product Consistency: Gain deep insights into the brand's DNA, including target customer profiles, pricing frameworks, and aesthetic preferences to uphold consistent product fit standards globally.
- Collaborative Communication: Lead the interface between design, vendors, sourcing, and internal stakeholders by reviewing design tech packs for clarity and completeness; facilitate smooth channels among sourcing, design, brand management, and leadership teams; coordinate with the Center of Excellence and vendors to ensure delivery of key assets like size specs and patterns.
- Technical Design & Sample Coordination: Oversee the creation and accurate uploading of size specifications to PLM systems, manage sample review sessions jointly with design teams, and ensure that all feedback and technical comments are relayed to vendors within strict 48-hour deadlines.
- Timeline & Calendar Management: Navigate product development schedules aligning proto requirements with assortment strategies, manage buy plan reviews and pre-production approvals within service-level agreements, and guarantee all pre-production samples are fully approved a minimum of 45 days before factory dispatch.
- Quality Control & Performance Metrics: Track first-time right metrics and rejection rates, conduct root cause analyses for continuous enhancement, maintain thorough sample tracking with categorization of rejection causes, analyze return rates to devise corrective actions, audit vendor patterns in collaboration with COE, and present weekly updates on key production metrics.
- Professional Growth: Engage in quarterly 360-degree feedback to assess performance and develop improvement plans in partnership with team leads.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Over 10 years of experience within the fashion industry.
- Strong knowledge of fits process, size grading, and size attributes.
- Understanding of pattern making, garment construction, and risk evaluation.
- Effective communication skills for vendor and cross-functional team collaboration.
- Adept at managing timelines and handling data systems efficiently.
