Job description
Role overview
For the earliest possible start, the Hamburg or Bremen site is looking for a Pricing Officer (w/m/d). In this role, you will support both the procurement team and the sales organization in building competitive pricing for intermodal products, using the purchase terms negotiated by procurement.
Key responsibilities
- Compare rates, calculate sales margins, and prepare quotations for the sales team.
- Draft and maintain templates for the internal TERRA tariff.
- Load pricing into internal and external sales tariffs across the full network for domestic transport via German ports, covering all transport modes.
- Assist the procurement team during price negotiations with service providers for individual rates and project business.
- Process and structure customer requests, including tenders.
- Communicate daily with the global network on transportation-related topics.
- Use the LARA application, or a future TMS solution, to monitor and control costs.
Profile
- Completed commercial training in logistics or an equivalent qualification.
- Previous exposure to intermodal pricing structures is an advantage.
- Strong written and spoken German and English skills.
- Willingness to take ownership and responsibility.
- Resilience, flexibility, and the ability to work well in a team.
- Good IT skills.
- Specialist knowledge in administration and procurement.
