Handshake seeks seasoned experts in retail pricing to contribute to AI research via a flexible, part-time contract arrangement. This role is unique as it leverages your practical experience in pricing strategies, markdown planning, and competitive pricing surveillance to assess AI-generated outputs and provide insights that enhance AI's comprehension of real-world retail pricing processes.

This project-based engagement offers the flexibility to work concurrently with your current job.

Primary Responsibilities

• Apply your specialized knowledge to develop advanced training questions and scenarios grounded in authentic retail pricing workflows.
• Assess AI-generated answers for correctness and alignment with practical pricing and markdown methodologies.
• Offer detailed written critiques to support the refinement and accuracy of AI models.
• Perform assigned tasks at your convenience without fixed schedules or minimum hourly commitments.

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum of five years’ professional involvement in retail pricing or price management positions, such as Pricing Analyst or Senior Pricing Manager.
• Direct experience managing processes including tariff setting, competitive price tracking, and markdown strategy optimization.
• Exceptional written communication capabilities paired with strong meticulousness.
• Capability to operate autonomously within a remote and asynchronous work setting.
