Overview

Union des producteurs agricoles (UPA) is hiring for a seasonal or student-friendly farm maintenance role in Bas-Saint-Laurent, Quebec. This position is based on site and is suited to someone who enjoys practical work in an agricultural setting, surrounded by nature and animals.

Work Schedule

• Work is scheduled from Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
• The weekly workload ranges from 20 to 30 hours.

Compensation

• Pay is set between 18 and 20 CAD per hour, depending on experience.

Key Duties

• Clean and maintain the barn.
• Mow the lawn and take care of green outdoor areas.
• Handle general upkeep around the farm, including electric fencing.
• Help move animals and support routine animal care activities.

Profile Sought

• The employer is looking for someone resourceful and able to work independently.
• The role calls for comfort with simple animal-moving tasks.
• No heavy lifting is required, but the job does require good physical condition.
• Prior experience is not necessary, as training will be provided on site.
