Role Overview

The Deli Clerk plays a vital role in delivering comprehensive duties with professionalism, accuracy, and timeliness. You will provide superior customer service fostering loyalty, address client needs attentively, and enhance an engaging atmosphere for both customers and colleagues.

Key Responsibilities

• Follow all Food Safety protocols, Standard Operating Procedures, Health and Safety regulations, corporate policies, and various programs diligently
• Offer attentive and responsive customer service to satisfy customer demands
• Maintain cleanliness and neatness of the work area
• Efficiently manage the processing of deli orders for customers
• Execute merchandising plans and product presentation initiatives
• Prepare and handle deli food products with care
• Promote products actively to boost store sales
• Assist in training new or junior team members
• Conduct stock ordering and receiving as per company inventory control guidelines when necessary
• Manage department shrink through appropriate procedures
• Ensure a safe and hygienic working environment compliant with company standards
• Perform additional duties as assigned
