Overview
Join a major Mega Construction Project in Jeddah as a Precast Manager to lead and coordinate all aspects of precast concrete operations. This role demands expertise in planning, production execution, quality assurance, manpower management, materials handling, equipment supervision, and on-site collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and direct the entire production process and construction activities related to precast concrete elements.
- Develop and monitor production schedules ensuring timely delivery of precast components to the construction site.
- Liaise effectively with Engineering, Planning, QA/QC, Procurement, Construction, and Site teams for seamless coordination.
- Evaluate and utilize approved shop drawings, production drawings, method statements, and technical specifications.
- Guarantee that all precast components meet the approved designs, specifications, and project requirements.
- Supervise quality control measures, check dimensional accuracy, finishing, curing, lifting, storage, and transportation procedures.
- Manage workforce, equipment, materials, molds, and other essential resources efficiently to maintain production flow.
- Collaborate with QA/QC for inspections, testing, handling non-conformance reports, and implementing corrective actions.
- Track productivity levels and production objectives, taking corrective steps when necessary.
- Keep accurate records covering production output, material usage, inspections, deliveries, and inventory management.
- Identify and resolve potential production or site challenges with practical solutions.
- Ensure maintenance and optimal use of molds, machinery, lifting gear, and production facilities.
- Supervise subcontractors and suppliers involved in precast manufacturing activities.
- Enforce compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations throughout production, handling, transit, and erection processes.
- Prepare and submit regular reports on progress and production to project management.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or related disciplines.
- At least 15 years of extensive experience in precast concrete production and construction management.
- Deep understanding of precast manufacturing processes, reinforcement techniques, casting, curing, lifting, storage, transportation, and erection methods.
- Proficient in interpreting structural and shop drawings, specifications, and construction approaches.
