Key Responsibilities
- Proactively engage with media outlets by developing and pitching newsworthy stories to a broad range of journalists—from mainstream national outlets to niche industry publications.
- Monitor media trends, news cycles, and social channels to identify timely and relevant PR opportunities for clients.
- Manage daily media monitoring tasks, keeping press lists current, and assembling detailed coverage reports.
- Create compelling written content, including press releases, media pitches, social media posts, and briefs that authentically capture each client’s brand voice.
- Support the team during live brand activations such as experiential events, press launches, and major public stunts.
- Identify and engage influencers and digital creators to drive integrated campaign initiatives.
Candidate Requirements
- A minimum of 6 to 12 months of hands-on experience in a public relations or communications agency setting; internship experience is also considered.
- A solid grasp of what constitutes a compelling news story and an informed understanding of the UK media ecosystem.
- Excellent, adaptable copywriting skills with keen attention to delivering client-specific messaging.
- Ability to excel in a high-energy, fast-moving workplace environment.
- Proficiency in integrating artificial intelligence tools into campaign planning and execution.
- Comfortable working from an energetic, collaborative office in Soho.
