Role overview

LV Petroleum is hiring a proactive and energetic Porter to help keep the property clean, orderly, and inviting for customers and team members. This role plays a key part in supporting the company’s standards for cleanliness and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out everyday cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming across different areas of the facility.
• Keep restrooms, break areas, and common spaces clean and presentable so they remain comfortable for everyone.
• Handle trash and recycling collection and make sure waste is disposed of correctly.
• Assist with basic maintenance and simple repair work when needed, and escalate larger issues to the supervisor.
• Help prepare and clear equipment for meetings or events, ensuring spaces are arranged properly.
• Track janitorial stock and alert management when supplies are running low.
• Offer courteous customer service by greeting visitors and helping with general questions.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or an equivalent credential is preferred.
• Experience in janitorial, custodial, or similar cleaning work is a plus.
• Must be able to do physically demanding tasks, including lifting items weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Strong eye for detail and a consistent focus on cleanliness standards are important.
• Good verbal communication and people skills are required.
• Should be comfortable working both independently and with a team.
• Schedule flexibility is needed, including availability for nights, weekends, and holidays when required.
